Welcome to my new web site and gallery!
Welcome to my online Native American painting gallery, where I am showing a lot of my recent art work. I’ve been busy during 2019 on some new pieces in various styles and media and am excited to start showing my Native American painting on this site.
Be sure to check out the News page where you can see my recent exhibit and painting work at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. Check the News page and my Facebook page to learn about upcoming shows in Great Falls and North Central Montana. Come and see my work in person if you can make the trip!
Look around the site to see many of my original Native American creations. These include paintings, collages, ledger art and linocut printmaking all in various sizes. Some of these items include ledger styles that originated with petroglyphs and pictographs (see: Milwaukee Public Museum). These eventually became paintings on Buffalo hides then ledgers as modern materials became available in the late 19th century. Visit the drums and hides page to see one-of-a kind hand painted drums and hides, recently displayed at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. All of these items are available for sale and I will ship directly to you. I will be posting prices and sizes soon for matted and unframed pieces. Until then, reach me through email, use the contact form on this site or catch up with me on Facebook to inquire about availability and pricing.
Have a look around in the Gallery and contact me for additional information. Stay tuned as the site comes together over the coming weeks. Be sure to bookmark this site and check back often to see the changes. I will be working on getting more paintings including some larger items added to the site soon. Check back for sizes, descriptions and prices on all of the items soon. I’ll be continuing in 2020 with new pieces and traveling for shows around Montana.
